(More customer reviews)Since I already have the Park shop stand which has been great, I needed a portable stand to take on trips. I bought the Park PCS-4-2 to use on our downhill bikes and it has been junk so-to-speak compared to our base stand. My Demo 9 is about 42 pounds and this stand can not handle the weight. When the bike is clamped in by the seat post the stand flexes down and the pedal hits the stand making it impossible to turn the cranks without holding the bike up. Also, the rotating head does not have enough friction to hold the front of your bike up. It works fine for very light bikes but for downhill or free-ride bikes it is not heavy duty enough.
