(More customer reviews)If you don't plan on mounting the TS-2 stand to either your own base, or your workbench, you should get this plastic stand. Without it the Park Tool TS-2 Professional Wheel Truing Stand flops around with a wheel in it and will not be easy to work with.
I suppose it should just come with the TS-2 stand but, Park sells a lot of shop tools to, gasp! actual bicycle shops and they tend to mount their truing stands to a workbench and wouldn't need this. As a home bike repair person you should buy it.
