(More customer reviews)Seems like a nice little kit.It consists of fiberglass cloth tape, super glue, accelerator, remover and an unknown primer I hope will stick to my snowmobile cowling.My concern is the patch does not look as strong as the plastic it is repairing and may be intended more to hold the crack together rather than resist flex stresses.The instructions say a second layer may be applied, my experience with other materials is over reinforcing a point can be just as bad as under reinforcing.
Perhaps the instructions could suggest how many layers over how large an area are appropriate for how thick the fairing or cowl is at the point being repaired, and reasonable expectations.My hood had a 4" crack in a non critical area that was not spreading;Having a repair fail in the middle of no where could lead to debris and an expensive windshield left to litter the trail.
