(More customer reviews)I purchased this product as a replacement for a Sram MRX index shifter on a used Giant mountain bike. It came with instructions, and the installation went well. All I had to do was make a minor adjustment to the cable tension to eliminate rubbing of the chain when it was on the outer chainring. The shifter has worked very well on several rides since replacement.
