(More customer reviews)This pump didn't work at all for me. Because it doesn't lock onto a bike valve you end up with less air in the tube than before pumping. I have presta valve stems; I'm not sure if it works better for schrader stems.
There are small pumps out there that do work fine in an emergency: for example Planet Bikes' own Planet Bike MicroPro Ultra Light Pocket Size Mini Bike Pump.
