It's about the cheapest out there unless you buy in bulk but that's pointless unless you have more than 2 pairs of skis/boards and ski/ride daily. It has a nice scent to it too. Kind of a tropical vanilla/coconut scent like suntan lotion perhaps.
This wasn't the fastest wax on the hill, but in Michigan we always have wet snow so waxes with a little fluorine work better. It did seem to hold to the base well after a hot wax/scrape/brushing and a few days on the hill. As far as temperature range, I was only able to test this in 15F-32F. It's a great economical wax for the recreational skier especially families.
Other waxes to try: Maplus with low fluorine or Dakine Indy wax with fluorine are in this price range with fluorine. You can find some all paraffin Toko waxes even a bit cheaper then this but you are stuck with buying larger quantities(which would be fine for a family of four that goes out often or high volume users).
