(More customer reviews)I was a little disappointed in the apparent quality of this tool, I had heard from an old bike mechanic a few years ago, that Park Tools had changed their cutter, and this one still had the old-fashioned folding awl on it, and it was better than Park's.

It does have the folding awl on the handle, but I prefer the non-folding plain awl (or ice pick) with a good hand filling birch handle. Better yet, a Crown rosewood awl. But both are gilding the lily, all you need to clean up the cut on the housing, is the folding awl here.The separate awl IS nicer though.Better than most, now.Or get a (cordless) Dremel with a cutting wheel.
